The Varsity Baseball team dropped the second game of their Spring Break slate by a score of 12-4 at Clinton. Peyton Crumpton [SR] (2-2) took the Loss for the Wolverines in 3.2 innings of work. Offensively, Whitmire left the bases loaded twice. Treyten White [SR] was the leading hitter going 2 for 3. Crumpton was 1 for 2 with 2 Sac flies and 2 RBI.
“We could not get the good at bats with the bases loaded on two occasions. Clinton is a quality baseball team and you have to take advantage of your opportunities. We will try and get back on track Friday.”
Whitmire falls to 7-5 and will travel to region foe Ware Shoals on Friday (4/9) for a 7:00 first pitch.”
