Cheer Clinic Announced

The Whitmire High School Cheerleaders will be holding their annual cheer clinic on Saturday, September 12th from 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. for girls ages 4-11 years old.  The cost is $20.00 per child or $30.00 with a sibling. This includes a t-shirt and pizza lunch. The Varsity Football program announced the top 10 X-Men based on three categories (bench press, squat, and power clean). The players lifted in the Spring and then again at the end of the Summer. Their total weight lifted was divided by their body weight. These 10 were determined to be the strongest “pound-for-pound” Wolverines: 1.

Tennis Fundraiser

The Lady Wolverine Tennis team will hold a hot dog fundraiser on Saturday, August 29th from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm. Plates will be picked up at the concession stand at Legends Stadium. The plates consist of two hot dogs, chips, and a can drink for $5.00. All proceeds support the Lady Wolverine Tennis Program.

Whitmire Falls to Fox Creek in Jamboree

Fox Creek defeated Whitmire 23-7 in the Region 1A Jamboree. The Wolverines scored on a 40 yard scoop-and-score touchdown by Cole Eison. Whitmire to Host Region Jamboree

Legends Stadium will be the site for the Region 1A Varsity Football Jamboree on Thursday, August 13th. The first half will be between Calhoun Falls and Ware Shoals beginning at 6:00.
