The Varsity Girls Basketball Playoff game at Christ Church has been rescheduled for Wednesday at 6:00. The Varsity Baseball scrimmage against Wagener-Salley has been cancelled.
The Baseball program is currently selling short and long-sleeve t-shirts. Short-sleeve cotton t-shirts are $10. Long-sleeve cotton shirts are $15. Short-sleeve dry-fit shirts are $15 and long-sleeve dry-fit shirts are $20. The profits will help pay for program expenses, including new jerseys. The Wrestling team will be travelling to Liberty High School on February 20-21 to compete in the 2A/1A Upper State Individual Tournament. Any wrestler finishing in the top 4 of their weight class will qualify for the individual State Championship Tournament.
The Varsity Girls Basketball team’s game against the Christ Church Cavaliers will now be on Tuesday night at 6:00 due to the threat of inclement weather. The game will take place on the Christ Church campus in Greenville. The #4 seed Lady Wolverines finished the regular season with a 7-12 record and were 4-6 in the Region.
Four Whitmire Wolverine Football players made the Region II-A All-Region team. The Wolverines completed a 5-6 campaign that was topped off by their first playoff appearance since 2009. The Whitmire Community School Cheerleaders will host an All You Can Eat Pancake Breakfast at Fatz Café in Clinton on Saturday, February 21st. The event will take place from 7:30 A.M. until 10:00 A.M.. The cost is $8.00 per person and breakfast will include pancakes, sausage, fruit, and a drink. You can contact Coach Gwen
JV and Varsity Softball practice will begin on Monday, February 2nd. Practice will begin at 4:00. You must have a physical and parent permission form to practice.
JV and Varsity Baseball practice will begin on Monday, February 2nd at 3:50 for anyone in Grades 7-12. Basketball players and Wrestlers will report as soon as their season is over. Prospective players must have their Physical and Parent permission forms turned in before beginning practice. Practice will last until 6:00 each afternoon.
